This evening the team was called out to a group near Lints tor on Dartmoor.
They had a member show signs of hypothermia.
The group did all the correct things, setup shelter, called 999 for help and stayed still.
They provided us with a grid reference and the first team headed out to the location.
Due to the wind and rain the visibility was poor and it took along time to locate the group.
Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Tavistock were then called to provide support, incase it ended up being a wider search of the moor.
Thankfully we located them, they were all in good spirits, although cold and wet.
Our members then walked them back to the awaiting landrovers at Dinger Tor.
Very bleak night on the moor.
