On Saturday the team prepared for storm Dennis, with 14 water trained members pre-deploying to the team base at Okehampton.
These 14 members were then split into 2 teams and supported with additional vehicles by Devon and Cornwall 4×4 response.
The purpose of these teams, was to provide a quick deployment to a flood incident anywhere in the South West.
This remained in place until Sunday mid morning. Thankfully the teams were not actually used.
For the remainder of Sunday the team members remained on standby from home.
