The team were called today at 04:30am to assist Devon & Cornwall Police with a search for a high-risk missing person in Exeter.
Searches were carried out in the vicinity of the Exeter Canal and the River Exe from 05:00am until just after 09:00am this morning. The weather was particularly bad this morning. There is a Yellow wind warning from the Met Office with winds gusting over 40mph and heavy rain.
The search for the missing person was then suspended whilst the police carried out further investigations. The missing person was later located by the police elsewhere at about 10:00am.
