Thank you to Sanctuary Freemasons Lodge

Firstly, to replace our existing old and worn-out waterproof clothing. We previously received a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. We are now in a position to place our order with a premium outdoor brand. That is working closely with Mountain Rescue England and Wales to provide waterproof PPE and keep our Team Members safe.

Secondly, to replace the team’s water equipment PPE that is coming to the end of its safety limit.

Sanctuary Lodge was left a legacy by a member, Len Jones. Who was a former Marine and loved Dartmoor! Over time, the membership has declined, so the group has decided to close the lodge. The group wished to disburse the funds to charities that support Len’s values.

This generous donation will assist in keeping Team Members safe all year round, whilst allowing the members to support others in need during search and rescue operations.
