Callout 8 – Thursday 19 February 2026

Following the callout on the 19th February. The team received the following message from the casualty.

Who is making a speedy recovery and is now out of the hospital! We wish you all the best.

“I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in coming to help me after slipping near Yes Tor last week.

I’m so very grateful to you all for warming my kids up and my dog and for taking me off the moors!! … Oh, and my husband.

You really are heroes!

Not great news regarding my leg, I will need surgery for a couple of broken bones in my ankle and leg.

In a good way… I hope I never have to see any of you again.

But keep up the amazing work you do!

I will be giving a donation tonight, and certainly when I’m back on my feet, I would love to do some fundraiser to raise some dosh for the awesome job you all do!”
