Callout – Monday 24 June 2024
At 13:30, Devon & Cornwall Police called NDSART to search for a high-risk missing person in the Halwill Junction/Holsworthy area.
NDSART requested the support of Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England – East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team‘s search dogs: Teg and Mac.
Teams were tasked with searching the surrounding woodland and farmland for the missing person with NPAS searching the surrounding field systems. At 15:40, Search Dogs and Team Members found the missing individual. After an assessment, the individual was escorted back with a Team Landrover back to the car park where Police Officers and a Team Doctor were waiting for their return.
NDSART was stood down at 16:10 and Team Members returned to work.
