Callout – Monday 16 September 2024

North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team were called at 19:20 to support Devon and Cornwall Police, NPAS, USAR and Devon & Somerset Fire Rescue Service to search for a missing young adult around the Broadwoodwidger area.

Team members and search dogs were deployed to search field systems and make their way north towards Roadford Reservoir during the search.

Around 21:50, a local farmer located the missing person and was met by Police. The team was stood down at 22:15 with the individual back home safe and well.
